‘Professionals’ in China
I have a bit of a problem with my balance lately, so I went to see the doctor. She advised me to “take drugs” and to sleep more. I told her that since I quit smoking I have difficulties to fall asleep and that I often wake up after a couple of hours. I assumed she would give me some suggestions to sleep better, but instead she simply ignored my sleeping-problem. It’s as if you can only discuss 1 problem per consultation. In Chinese hospitals you actually need to buy a ticket before consultation, like for a show or a concert. I guess one ticket for each problem.
Talking about the balance-problem, the doctor assumed i have a problem with my ears, thus she also assumed it was not a problem related to my brain. She explained her way of thinking to me as if she had successfully completed her checklist. Besides that, a regular doctor would at least check a patients ears when that seems to be the problem ; for this doctor that didn’t seem to be necessary.
Many ‘professionals’ in China are bloody lazy, they are either burnout or – more likely- unmotivated, they are also totally incompetent and most of them are simply stupid. With stupid I mean on the level of a retard…
