5000 years of history is a joke

The SCE confirmed that since 1982, about 30.995 sites with historic value in China have disappeared. Construction of roads and reservoirs are the main reason for this.

The research states that during the past 20 years more damage has been caused to the Chinese relics, compared to the early years of the Cultural Revolution.

Chinese are so proud when it comes to their “5.000 years of history”. What should they be proud of now ?
